Analogue CCTV

Cameras on an modern analogue CCTV system send their video in the traditional base band format over coax or UTP cabling back to a digital video recorder (DVR). Here, video is digitized and stored on hard drives. Most modern DVRs are a network device, and as such can be accessed remotely from the LAN, or with the proper configuration, from across a WAN or the internet. There are no tapes to change. Video is kept on hard drives, typically on a FIFO basis so there is always a rolling video archive of the past X days(depending upon drive capacity). So, despite the fact that video is being transmitted from the cameras in an analogue format, live and recorded video is still available over the network.

IP CCTV

IP video cameras broadcast their video as a digital stream over an IP network. Like an analogue system, video is recorded on hard drives, but since the video is an IP stream straight from the camera, there is more flexibility as to how and where that video is recorded. The DVR is replaced with an NVR (network video recorder), which in some cases is just software since it doesn't need to convert analogue to digital. Video footage can then be stored on new or existing network RAID drives as directed by the NVR software.

Wireless IP CCTV

WiFi cameras are wireless IP cameras. They allow multiple devices to be networked together and access a local area network through a wireless router. Each device talks to the router, which can send information back and forth to other networked devices as well as to and from the internet. Wireless security camera systems from Secureye consist of wireless transmitter and receiver antennas and allow closed circuit cameras or IP security cameras to transmit a wireless signal. These systems are used in situations where cable dredging is not practical or is cost prohibitive. These wireless systems offer exceptional video data transmission. They are made for long distance outdoor use with a direct line of sight between the transmitting and receiving antennas.

Mobile Surveillance

Secureye offers a wide variety of on-board surveillance systems specifically engineered for tough and lasting performance in any moving vehicle environment. Our suite of mobile digital video recorders ranges from rugged and durable DVRs, full high definition recorders, to Hybrid Video Recorders that support both analogue and IP. We have an assortment of indoor and outdoor mobile cameras that deliver incredibly detailed images with clear audio for reliable coverage from every angle. All systems are equipped with wireless and cellular connectivity, and include sophisticated feature-rich software. Create the ideal video recording system and capture high quality views of on-board activity and exterior bus surroundings enhancing student and driver safety.

Video Decoders For Video Wall

A video decoders are designed specifically for very low latency applications. These products display decoded video for man-in-the-loop applications. They also forward the compressed data stream over Ethernet for further display and processing. Our decoders are compatible with the MPEG-2 and H.264 video compression algorithms. IT is an electronic circuit, often contained within a single integrated circuit chip, that converts base-band analogue video signals to digital components video. Video decoders commonly allow programmable control over video characteristics such as hue, contrast, and saturation. A video decoder decodes digital video and audio coming from a video encoder or a network camera into analog signals, which can then be used by analog monitors, such as regular TV sets, and video switches.

Central Storage Solutions

For businesses having multiple locations to monitor, By installing IP cameras at the locations the video can then be transported over the internet to a central location and then stored on a central storage server. By maintaining the videos stored at one location the company realizes added security in the event of fire, burglary, flood, vandalism that may occur a any of the remote locations as the video is stored safely offsite at the company headquarters. Central to any Virtualisation solution is a shared enterprise storage solution. SAN Storage has evolved greatly over the last 5 years with the emergence of iSCSI SANs as an alternative to cumbersome and expensive Fibre Channel SAN’s. we have a range of SAN solutions to suit every size of organisation we deal with. The way we determine which type of SAN suits a client is through planning and dialogue with our clients.

Networking Products

Due to the complex monitoring environment, when making cabling and networking , it’s very often to encounter the problem of inadequate network transmission distance, the distance of each camera terminal to the monitoring centre is different, some only a few meters, some hundred metres, while others are more than kilometres. Our networking products such as PoE switches, Fibre Media Converters, Fibre switches etc enables you to meet your project demands and ensures smooth surveillance video playback and stable data transmission for 7x24.

Video Balun

Video baluns are an excellent choice for long cable runs. Standard coaxial cable is usually the best medium for transmitting video, but video over those runs is limited to about 600 feet before the quality degrades. CCTV video baluns allow signal to travel over Cat5E for several thousand feet. Additionally, Cat5E cable is less expensive and easier to pull. There are 2 types of CCTV baluns, passive and active. Passive video baluns are good up to 1,000 - 1,200 Ft. Active video baluns can extend the range to 4,000 feet, but they require external DC power.

Power Supply

A CCTV power supply box, also known as a power distribution box, allows surveillance system installers to easily manage the power to multiple CCTV cameras at a central point (usually at the location of the DVR). This allows your camera installation to be neater. For example, instead of having 8 power supply plugs, plug into power strip/electric surge protector, all of your camera power wires can neatly be run to a power supply box. A power supply box is normally installed near your DVR. Our power supply boxes are very simple to install. Each cameras power cable simply screws into the power supply box. The power supply box plugs into a standard power outlet. No electrician is required for installation of the box.
